Cellnet

Cellnet Group is a premier distributor of lifestyle technology and gaming accessories across Australia and New Zealand. With a need for a more flexible fulfillment solution, Cellnet turned to the warenous team to consolidate their multiple 3PL warehouses and bring in-house into a single owned warehouse.

Really appreciate all the support and guidance on this project from warenous team. Can’t thank you enough for all the effort, hard work and dedication to get us to this point on such a short timeline. Look forward to working with you again.

About Cellnet

Cellnet represents global brands and sources products in high velocity categories including mobile, AV and IT accessories, audio, gaming accessories and software, into retail, business, and online channels.

Cellnet has extensive reach in Australasia, combining distribution of market leading brands together with its own brands and innovative retail category management services.

The Challenge

Cellnet had outsourced their fulfillment to multiple 3PLs however that solution was unable to deliver on their need to further enrich the customer experience. They required an enhanced distribution model that would deliver:

  • omni-channel solutions for traditional retail partners
  • customised business partner solutions,
  • comprehensive digital channel fulfillment and,
  • their own 3PL services.

The Solution

The team at warenous were tasked to lead the project to design, source and execute the set-up of the new warehouse solution. With significant expertise in-house, the warenous and Cellnet teams worked closely together at each stage to ensure the most optimum solution for the business.

A suitable warehouse was located in the Heatherton Parkview Estate. The modern 3,600m2 office and distribution facility had sufficient capacity for all Cellnet operations with further headroom available for future growth requirements.

Specific activities included:

    • End to end project management
    • Data analysis to determine space and design requirements for the warehouse
    • Carrier analysis and negotiations
    • Warehouse options review
    • Warehouse Staff interviews
    • Equipment supplier sourcing

The Results:

    • Project was delivered on a very tight timeline and to budget

    • Cellnet were able to achieve the desired flexibility objectives for their customers
